Sonoma, California - George Kurtz drove his #04 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 to the overall and SRO3-class top spot in the second GT America practice, clocking a 1:41.181 lap time. In GT4, Tim Pappas set a 1:48.748 practice lap in his #54 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR to pace the field in the class.
Jason Daskalos (#27 Daskalos Motorsports Audi R8 LMS GT3) took the second spot in the SRO3 class with a 1:42.491, while newcomer Jason Hardward piloted his #88 Zelus Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3 to the third-fastest lap time with a 1:42.811 best effort.
Behind Pappas in the GT4 field, Rotek Racing's Rob Holland stopped the clock at 1:48.931 in his #99 Ford Mustang GT4, good for a second-in-class finish, while third place went to series regular Jason Bell in the #2 GMG Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 at 1:49.107 on the platform new to both driver and team.
