The GT America powered by AWS grid returned on track in the early afternoon under the hot Florida sun for their second practice session at Sebring International Raceway. A red flag emerged with less than 10 minutes to go, cutting the 30-minute session slightly short in the process.

George Kurtz was the fastest driver overall and in the SRO3 Class, setting a flying lap time of 2:02.947 in the No. 04 Crowdstrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3. Alan Grossberg’s best time of the session was a 2:11.026 in the GT2 Class in the No. 102 TPC Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2. Isaac Sherman was back on top in the GT4 Class, setting a time of 2:12.840 in the No. 098 Rotek Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. 

SRO3 Class

Following his strong performance in the opening session, George Kurtz claimed the top spot once again, with a lap time of 2:02.947 making his No. 04 Crowdstrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 the fastest car on track. 

Justin Rothberg continued to show his speed on board the No. 29 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3, as the Miami resident went second-quickest in the session, slotting himself just 0.309 seconds off Kurtz’s top time. Kyle Washington was also rapid in the No. 32 GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R (991.ii), following behind Rothberg in third.

Jason Daskalos and Johnny O’Connell made Top 5 appearances yet again, equipped with their No. 27 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 and No. 3 SKI Autosports Audi R8 LMS GT3 machines. 

GT2 Class

Alan Grossberg made good use of his time on track as he returned in the No. 102 TPC Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, clocking in more valuable laps around the notoriously bumpy circuit. He continued to improve throughout the session, with a lap time of 2:11.026 serving as his best time of the session.  

GT4 Class

Isaac Sherman got up to speed quickly in the GT4 Class, concluding his day at Sebring by going fastest in his No. 098 Rotek Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. His time of 2:12.840 was the one to beat, with Curt Swearingin following less than half a second behind in the No. 7 ACI Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport after going quickest in the morning session. 

Gray Newell made another Top 3 appearance in the No. 25 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4, with Todd Parriott and Nicholas Shanny in hot pursuit in their respective No. 31 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 and No. 21 Carrus Callas Raceteam BMW M4 GT4 (G82).
