Watkins Glen, New York - The GT America powered by AWS weekend continued along as clouds set in and ambient temperatures dropped, as did everyone’s lap times.

In SRO3, George Kurtz dropped his best lap of the morning session to a 1:47.231 in his #04 Crowdstrike by Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3. Jason Daskalos (#27 Daskalos Motorsports Audi R8 LMS) was over 2.5 seconds off of Kurtz’s pace with a 1:49.962, followed by Mirco Shultis in the #70 Mishumotors Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R.

Jeff Burton experienced a flat tire behind the wheel of the #191 Zelus Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3. He quickly and safely moved off-track to prevent a yellow or red flag.

In GT4, Marco Radisic claimed the quickest time of 1:57.138 in his #22 SRQ Motorsports BMW M4 GT4. Seth Lucas followed closely behind in the #016 Hattori Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4, with the #8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 driven by Elias Sabo third quickest.

Jason Bell (#2 GMG Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4) briefly went off track towards the end of the session, though no yellow flag was required. The #22 SRQ Motorsports BMW M4 GT4 (Marco Radisic) and #67 Smooge Racing Toyota GR Supra GT4 (Jose DaSilva) were given drive-through penalties due to pit speed violations.

Qualifying begins Saturday at 8:00 AM EST, followed by Race 1 at 12:15 PM (EST).
