Austin, Texas - After a rain delay, the second GT America powered by AWS practice session at Circuit of the Americas completed and found inception racing's Brendan Iribe on top once again, turning a 2:24.469 lap time in the #70 McLaren 720S-GT3 for the SRO3 top spot as well as session overall fastest lap.
In the Masters division, Flying Lizard Motorsports' Andy Wilzoch, piloting the #460 Porsche 911 GT3 R (991) managed a 2:30.429 on the increasingly-dry track surfaces that captured the fourth overall fastest position, also good to lead the division's practicing competitors.
Jason Bell navigated the wet and dry spots on track to the tune of 2:33.698, a top-of-class timeslip for the GT4 competitor in the #2 GMG Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4.
GT America competitors next hit the track on Saturday, May 2nd for the Official Qualifying session, going green at 10:10 am CDT with Race 1 scheduled 4:45 pm CDT on Saturday afternoon.
