Chouest Povoledo Racing will return in 2026 with a full-season entry in GT America powered by AWS. The team will field a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R piloted by Ross Chouest.
The entry marks a continued effort and dedication to maintaining Corvette’s presence in the series.
“We chose the Corvette Z06 GT3.R because we knew it could win, and after three victories last season, I think we are onto something!” said Aaron Povoledo, the Team Principal. “We are extremely grateful to the team over at GM and their motorsports division for supporting what we are trying to achieve. I also want to thank Greg Gill, Staci Langham, and the whole crew at SRO America for giving us a great place to race and helping it all happen.”
In past years, the team raced in SRO with both Aston Martin and Mercedes; however, they switched to Corvette last season. Last season, Ross Chouest took victories at Road America, Barber, and Indianapolis, and he is looking to continue building on those.
“We are very fortunate to have the support of GM and the series. We also have to acknowledge Westport, Mobil 1, Sparco US, and Bell Helmets, as they have been part of this journey too,” said Aaron Povoledo. “This year we are working with them again, including a couple of new additions to the team as well.”
Chouest Povoledo Racing is set to make its first race at Sonoma Raceway March 27–29 and continue representing the Corvette brand.
