Entry List

GT America powered by AWS takes on Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, Texas, from Friday, May 19 through Sunday, April 21. The 3.425-mile, 20-turn circuit welcomes SRO Motorsports America and its series home after a year hiatus. The GT America series is joined on location by SRO’s premiere GT series Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America and TC America powered by Skip Barber.

GT America brings 24 entries to the total car count of the 140 that are on site for the event weekend. This is the series' fourth installment of racing on the 2023 calendar, hosting rounds seven and eight. A total of 19 teams represent seven manufacturers going into COTA.

SRO3 Class

Memo Gidley in the No. 101 TKO Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 swept the weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park. The team now leads the Team Points Championship in the class by 58 points. Sitting second in the team championship running is CRP Racing with the No. 27 of Jason Daskalos and No. 41 of Todd Treffert. The pair of Mercedes-AMG GT3 entries have been consistently running inside the top 10 and always within striking distance of the podium. Joining the top three is RealTime Racing with Anthony Bartone in the No. 427 Mercedes-AMG GT3. A consistent George Kurts in the No. 04 Crowdstrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 has his team in fourth. The Mercedes-AMG is the main theme of success in the class but GMG Racing is happy to break up the manufacturer's grip.

GMG Racing with the No. 14 Audi R8 LMS GT3 of James Sofronas, celebrating his 350th start in SRO America this weekend, blocks Mercedes-AMG from collecting all the top spots. Wright Motorsports with the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Adam Adelson sits sixth in the team championship.

A Porsche 911 GT3 R collective follows with Flying Lizard Motorsports. The team and the No. 460 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Andy Wilzoch have a chance to jump the line in the championship with the subtraction of Mishumotors to the entry list at COTA. The No. 043 OnlyFans Racing with P1 Groupe by MRS Porsche GT3 R is wheeled by Peter Pejascevich this weekend as the team fights from 10th in the championship.

SKI Autosports and the No. 56 Ferrari 458 Italia of Johnny O'Connell as well as the two entries of DXDT Racing round out the standings. The No. 08 and 91 Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars will hope to find the momentum they had in the opening rounds. Finally, the homegrown entry of Lone Star Racing joins the grid with the addition of the No. 011 Mercedes-AMG GT3 piloted by Marc Austin.

GT4 Class

Flying Lizard Motorsports leads the charge in the GT4 Class team championship by a clear 27 points above Chouest Poveledo Racing. The No. 2 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Jason Bell and the No. 8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Elias Sabo have been topping the time charts all season. Ross Chouest in the No. 50 Chouest Povoledo Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 is the lone entry for his team and leads the GT4 Class drivers championship. The No. 25 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Gray Newell places the team third in the team championship standings.

Aston Martin AMR is a clear favorite in the class for good reason. Two more teams represent the British brand on track including the No. 69 Archangel Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Todd Coleman and the No. 77 TR3 Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Paul Kiebler. A pair of Porsche race cars grace the class. The No. 71 GMG Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Jason Golan and the No. 099 Rotek Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Robb Holland. The latter of which won Round 3 in Sonoma Raceway.

The No. 5 Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R of Tony Gaples is the lone American manufacturer in the series. A solo Toyota is also on track entered by Carrus Callas Raceteam and Nicholas Shanny. Finally, John Roberts joins the series as new addition in the No. 11 Fast Track Racing BMW M4 GT4.
