St. Petersburg, Fl. - The 2022 SRO GT America Powered by AWS season kicks off with a packed, 29-car grid along Florida’s Tampa Bay, with Jason Daskalos of Daskalos Racing setting the fastest time of 1-minute 12.797, capturing pole in SRO3 for Friday’s Race 1. Lining up next to him will be Scott Smithson in the #8 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.
The second row will be by occupied by George Kurtz (#4 CrowdStrike Racing by Riley Motorsports Mercedes) and Jason Harward (#88 Zelus Motorsports Lamborghini), followed by Justin Wetherill (#37 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari) and David Askew (#63 DXDT Racing Mercedes) in the third row.
Lining up in the fourth row are Ziad Ghandour (#9 TR3 Racing Lamborghini) and Mirco Shultis (#70 Mishumotors Callaway Corvette).
Finally, rounding out SRO3 in the fifth row are Jeff Burton (#191 Zelus Motorsports Lamborghini) and CJ Moses (#58 GMG Racing Audi R8 LMS GT2)
In GT4 Invitational, Adam Adelson (#120 Premier Racing Porsche) will line up next to Robb Holland (#99 Rotek Racing Porsche).
Kicking off the season in GT America GT4 is one stacked grid. Chris Cagnazzi took pole in his #39 Cameron Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4 with a 1:18.923, alongside him will be Jason Bell (#2 GMG Racing Aston Martin).
In the second GT4 row sit Bryan Putt (#15 BSport Racing Aston Martin) and Derek Deboer (#66 TRG Porsche), followed by Moisey Uretsky (#55 Acceleration Performance Toyota) and Gray Newell #25 Heart of Racing Aston Martin) in the third row.
The fourth row will be occupied by Chris Gumprecht (#79 Renntech Motorsports Mercedes) and Marko Radisic (#22 SRQ Motorsports BMW), behind them are Ross Chouest (#50 Chouest Povoledo Racing Aston Martin) and Paul Sparta (#98 Random Vandals BMW) in the fifth row.
Filling in the sixth row are Todd Coleman (#69 Smooge Racing Toyota) and Sean Whalen (#88 Zelus Motorsports Aston Martin), followed by Nick Shanny (#21 Accelerating Performance Toyota) and Custodio Toledo (#89 Renntech Mercedes-AMG) in the seventh row. Rick Uhler Rounds out the GT4 field in the eighth row behind the wheels of the #28 SRQ Motorsports BMW M4 GT4.
