Watkins Glen, NY - GT America powered by AWS competitors took a dry track at an overcast Watkins Glen International circuit with Charlie Luck (#45 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3-R 991.2) pacing the field in the first official practice session. His 1-minute, 48.301-second lap of the 11-turn circuit was the fastest of the session, the first Official session of the double-header weekend.
In the GT4 class, it was Jason Bell that piloted his #2 GMG Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 to a 1-minute, 58.098-second lap that would capture the top spot in the class. In the Invitational class, Caesar Bacarella's #90 Lamborghini Super Trofeo set the standard for the group with a 1-minute, 56.820-second trip around the course.
Results are provisional until posted Final. The second official practice session for GT America goes green on Friday afternoon at 1:35 pm EDT.
