Moving up from the TC America ranks to the GT America campaign in 2021, veteran Phil Bloom of Nantucket, Mass., put in a superb weekend at Sonoma Raceway with the #11 Classic BMW BMW M4 GT4 sports car with a second and fifth in the GT4 50-minute sprint competition, which will be televised on the CBS Sports Network on March 17 at 9:30 p.m. EDT.
Grahovec was impressed with Bloom’s performance in a new GT4 car.
“I’m very happy for Phil to get on the GT4 podium in his first sprint weekend in the class,” Toby said. “The GT4 Sprint races are very competitive. He got a top-five on Saturday and second on Sunday. Just a tremendous weekend for him. Overall, the team recorded two wins and four seconds. It was a good weekend.”
