The GT America powered by AWS championship is preparing to get back underway at Barber Motorsports Park for the eleventh and twelfth rounds of the 2026 season, marking the penultimate event on the calendar. After a competitive opening half of the campaign and a thrilling return from the summer break, the field now heads to one of North America's most stunning road courses with championship battles coming to their make-or-break point.
Known for its flowing layout, dramatic elevation changes, sweeping corners and picturesque surroundings, Barber Motorsports Park provides a unique challenge for the GT America field. With drivers eager to get back behind the wheel for two 40-minute sprints, the Alabama circuit sets the stage for another weekend of close competition as the championship heads toward its final races of the season.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin is back in action with some new representation, with 89x Motorsports entering the GT4 category and shaking things up at Barber Motorsports Park. While the team has previously taken part in GT America competition in the past, this will be their first appearance on the grid in 2026.

Audi
Another set of back-to-back wins for Memo Gidley last time out at Road America further extended his winning streak and championship lead. He now has an opportunity to clinch the SRO3 class title at Barber if he puts in another stellar performance.

BMW
Craig Lumsden also looks ahead to Barber as the place to wrap up the championship crown in the GT4 class. He will have a very healthy margin heading into the next two races, but will be faced with further competition if he wants to return to the top step.

Chevrolet
Chevrolet returns to the GT America grid at Barber Motorsports Park with Ross Chouest looking to build on his recent momentum after enjoying a runner-up finish in Race 2 at Road America.

Ferrari
Ferrari brings a strong contingent to Barber, led by Tony Davis and his HP-TECH Motorsport Ferrari 296 GT3. Davis scored two podium finishes at Road America and will be seeking a return to the top step after previously winning in Sebring earlier this year. HP-TECH is also expanding its presence, with newcomer Scott Barry joining the field with a Cup class entry.

Ford
Ford is adding to the manufacturer diversity in the field, with Zachry Lee, who has also competed in Pirelli GT4 America this season, taking part in GT America action in the GT4 class for these rounds.

Ginetta
David Lecko, who has made an immediate impression during his first season in GT America, enters the weekend with a chance to secure the Cup class championship as the 2026 season moves toward its conclusion.

Porsche
Porsche arrives in Alabama boasting seven entries. Last time out, it was Scott Blind who took home a strong podium finish in Race 1, and he’ll be looking for more success in the remaining rounds. Additionally, Jon Manship rejoins the action after missing the prior rounds at Road America.
