The wait is nearly over as the GT America powered by AWS championship prepares to get back underway at Road America for the ninth and tenth rounds of the 2026 season, marking the first event back following the summer break. After a competitive opening half of the campaign, the single-driver sprint championship heads to one of North America's most iconic road courses with championship battles continuing to take shape across the field.

Known for its high-speed layout, long straights, sweeping corners and dramatic elevation changes, Road America provides a unique challenge for the GT America field. With drivers eager to get back behind the wheel, the Wisconsin circuit sets the stage for another weekend of close multi-class competition as the season moves into its second half.
