GT America powered by AWS is en route to Circuit of The Americas, where the championship joins SRO America’s home race weekend in Austin for CieloVision GT World Texas powered by Samsung. Following an action-packed opening weekend at Sonoma Raceway, the series is now in full swing as it arrives at COTA with early title contenders beginning to emerge across classes.
The fast-paced, single-driver sprint format once again promises non-stop thrills, now set against the backdrop of one of North America’s most demanding circuits. With standout performances already shaping the championship narrative, the second round offers drivers a crucial opportunity to build consistency and stake their claim in the early-season fight.
Audi
Audi enters the Texas round with significant momentum, led by Memo Gidley, who delivered a flawless performance at Sonoma. Sweeping both races in SRO3 competition, Gidley established himself as the early championship leader and will be aiming to continue that form as the series heads to COTA.

BMW
BMW’s campaign is off to a perfect start thanks to Craig Lumsden, who secured both class victories at Sonoma. Competing in a full-season effort with Flying Lizard Motorsports, Lumsden heads to Austin as the driver to beat in GT4.

Chevrolet
Chevrolet showed solid pace in the opening round, with Ross Chouest securing a top-five result at Sonoma, and he will now be aiming to convert that into podium finishes this time around in Texas.

Ferrari
Ferrari brings a strong and expanding presence to COTA, with multiple entries set to battle in the SRO3 class. Marc Muzzo led the charge for the manufacturer at Sonoma with a second-place finish in Race 1. The Ferrari lineup grows for the Texas rounds with the addition of Tony Ferraro and Jason McCarthy, further strengthening what already represents a significant portion of the SRO3 field.

Ginetta
Ginetta heads to its home event with strong momentum in the Cup class, as David Lecko swept both races at Sonoma. Representing the Texas-based RacingSupport team, Lecko will be looking to replicate that dominant performance in front of a home crowd at COTA.

Mercedes-AMG
Mercedes-AMG gains additional representation at COTA with Dan Knox joining the grid for his home race. Piloting the Lone Star Racing entry, Knox transitions into SRO3 competition this season after previous experience with GT2 machinery. Also, familiar face in the GT2 ranks CJ Moses is getting into the mix as well, this time in a GT3 entry with Random Vandals Racing.

Porsche
Porsche continues to be a major force across the GT America field, building on a strong showing at Sonoma that saw multiple podium finishes. Scott Blind secured a third-place result in Race 1, while Kyle Washington and Dave Musial Sr. added to the podium tally in Race 2. The Porsche contingent expands for COTA, with Wright Motorsports adding Jon Manship to its SRO3 lineup and RCX Motorsport bringing Jozsef Petkes into the GT4 class.
