Provisional Practice 1 Results
Practice 1 is in the books for GT America powered by AWS at Sonoma Raceway, and the opening session set the tone for a tightly packed field to start the 2026 season. Scott Blind put Ruckus Racing on top in the No. 45 Porsche 911 GT3 R with a best lap of 1:35.784, narrowly ahead of Ross Chouest and Memo Gidley, while Joel Cortes and Marc Muzzo completed the overall top five in a competitive first outing on the 2.52 mile California circuit. David Lecko led the Cup class for RacingSupport, and Craig Lumsden paced GT4 for Flying Lizard Motorsports as the weekend got underway under the sunshine.
