A Diverse GT America Powered by AWS Grid Set for Sonoma

The 2025 GT America powered by AWS season is set to kick off at Sonoma Raceway, featuring an exciting combination of returning racers, new entries, and strong competition. With top-tier teams across both SRO3 and GT4 classes, each manufacturer is bringing its best to the grid heading into the season-opening event. 
 
The picturesque rolling hills and vibrant wine country of Sonoma provide a stunning backdrop for an action-packed weekend of racing. As SRO America continues its impressive growth, more than 120 cars across six series will take on the challenge of this iconic California circuit.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin makes its mark in GT America with two strong entries representing the British marque in an effort to make an immediate impact in the GT4 category. Both teams are ready to battle it out in the fiercely competitive GT4 class, looking to capitalize on the legendary manufacturer’s precision and performance.

BMW

BMW’s presence in 2025 is highlighted by entries from Turner Motorsport, Flying Lizard Motorsports, and Fast Track Racing. With a mix of SRO3 and GT4 drivers, BMW is poised to be a strong contender in both categories, led by Justin Rothberg, who narrowly missed out on the class title last season by one single point.

Corvette

Corvette is back in full force with two formidable entries in the GT3 class. Chouest Povoledo Racing joins the Team Chevy family after recently switching manufacturer allegiance. Meanwhile, Mirco Schultis returns with his trusty Callaway Corvette for another year of competition. Both teams are looking to showcase Corvette’s renowned racing pedigree as they battle for dominance in the SRO3 ranks.

Ferrari

The Italian manufacturer is ready to take on the competition in the GT3 class, with its signature blend of engineering excellence and racing heritage taking center stage with the Ferrari 296 GT3.

Mercedes-AMG

Mercedes-AMG is represented by CrowdStrike by Riley’s Mercedes-AMG GT3, with George Kurtz paving the way. With a strong foundation and a great deal of experience to pull from, Mercedes-AMG and Kurtz are looking to be a dominant force in the 2025 season.

Porsche

Porsche leads the entry list with the most cars in the championship, boasting a lineup across both SRO3 and GT4 classes. ACI Motorsports, GMG Racing, and NOLASPORT are among the standout returning entries. With additional cars from RCX Motorsport and Paradaime Performance Engineering, Porsche’s versatility and competitive edge in both classes make them a key player this season.

Toyota

Toyota’s entry into the GT America championship brings a fresh face to the grid, and their performance will be keenly watched as they take on the seasoned competition in GT4.

The grid will continue to see additional growth as the season progresses, with an additional six entries expected to hit the track in late April at the Circuit of The Americas, including another manufacturer entering into the medley.
