In partnership with Women in Motorsports North America, SRO Motorsports Group is thrilled to introduce the WIMNA SRO Inspire Award, a significant recognition in the motorsports industry. This prestigious award will be presented at the upcoming end-of-season gala in Indianapolis on Sunday, October 6th.
This award recognizes a woman in motorsports who exemplifies visionary leadership, promotes the inclusion and advancement of women, and serves as a role model through her professional achievements and conduct. The recipient demonstrates innovative contributions, engages with the community, and actively mentors emerging female talents.
Furthermore, nominees are selected based on career accomplishments, ethical integrity, and the ability to overcome challenges, all of which make these women beacons of inspiration and positive change in the industry. Their work significantly impacts the motorsports community, breaking stereotypes and reshaping perceptions, making them true champions of progress and empowerment.
The nominees will consist of women working within the SRO America paddocks, and peers will be able to directly nominate and vote for their fellow team members and colleagues.
“We are elated to announce our partnership with SRO Motorsports Group for the prestigious WIMNA SRO Inspire Award,” stated Cindy Sisson, Executive Director of WIMNA. “This award aims to honor and celebrate an outstanding woman who has served as an exemplary leader in the motorsports industry, highlighting an unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions that have lifted standards and paved the way for future generations of women in motorsports.
