Qualifying Results
The sunrise and the 3.741-mile, 17-turn circuit of Sebring International Raceway made the perfect setting for GT America powered by AWS qualifying. The SRO3 Class and GT4 Class drivers took on the bumps in a 15-minute sprint session to crown two pole sitters for today’s Race One at 12:50 p.m. ET.
SRO3 Class
Memo Gidley in the No. 101 TKO Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 won the Rowe Pole Award with a Best Lap of 2:01.925. Jason Daskalos is on his heels with a lap of 2:02.018 in the No. 27 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3. The second row belongs to Adam Adelson in the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R, who sits third with his Best Lap of 2:02.205. George Kurtz took the No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 to fourth with a lap time of 2:02.282. Rounding out the Top Five is Anthony Bartone in the No. 427 RealTime Racing Mercedes-AMG who set a lap time of 2:02.363.
The No. 3 SKI Autosports Audi R8-LMS of Johnny O'Connell will start the race sixth. Todd Treffert in the No. 41 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 starts Row 4. Mirco Schultis in the No. 70 MISHUMOTORS Corvette C7 GT3-R will begin Race One from seventh in the class next to Treffert. Scott Smithson in the No. 08 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 came out on top of a shootout for ninth position. Starting 10th is Andy Wilzoch in the No. 460 Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R. Rounding out the field is the No. 043 OnlyFans Racing by P1 Groupe with MRS Porsche 911 GT3 R of Alex Vogel.
GT4 Class
Robb Holland is the man to beat this week as he places the No. 099 Rotek Racing Porsche 917 Cayman GT4 Clubsport on pole with a Best Lap of 2:11.378. Driver Points Championship leader Jason Bell in the No. 2 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. Row 2 belongs to the No. 8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Elias Sabo and the No. 5 Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro GT4. R of Tony Gaples. Sliding into the fast five was Gray Newell in the No. 25 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4.
Ross Chouest in the No. 50 Chouest Povoledo Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 will continue his push for the championship lead from the sixth-place starting position. Scott Blind in the No. 045 Archangel Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 will start eighth in the class. Completing Row 4 is Tim Savage in the No. 009 TRG Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. Bookending the field is the No. 81 BGB Motorsports Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport of Thomas Collingwood and No. 21 Carrus Callas Raceteam Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO of Nicholas Shanny.
