Sabo Fastest in GT4 Class
Practice Two Results
Practice Two closed out the day for the GT America powered by AWS series. The final 30-minute session prefaces tomorrow’s qualifying session at 8 a.m. ET. The field ran clean and green for the entirety of the day, giving teams and drivers maximum time to settle car setups on the 3.741-mile, 17-turn circuit.
SRO3 Class
George Kurtz closed out Practice Two fastest in the SRO3 Class. He ran a 2:01.813 lap time in his No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3. Memo Gidley found himself in second for a second time today. He turned a lap time of 2:01.911 in the No. 101 TKO Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3. Adam Adelson found time between sessions. He ran a Best Lap of 2:02.565 in the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R. Practice One leader, Jason Daskalos in the No. 27 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 capped his day off fourth with a 2:03.285 lap time. Rounding out the top five in class was Anthony Bartone in the No. 427 RealTime Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 with a Best Lap of 2:03.302.
GT4 Class
Elias Sabo found himself fastest in the GT4 Class. He pushed the No. 8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 to turn a lap of 2:12.476. Jason Bell was second fastest in the No. 2 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 with a Best Lap of 2:12.500. Keeping the pack tight Tony Gaples in the No. 5 Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro GT4 R best time was a 2:12.528. He was followed by Practice One leader Robb Holland in the No. 099 Rotek Racing Porsche 917 Cayman GT4 Clubsport who’s best time was a 2:13.381. Cracking the Top Five for the first time of the weekend was Ross Chouest who sits second in the Driver Points Championship behind Bell. Chouest in the No. 50 Chouest Povoledo Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 turned a 2:13.511 lap.
