Rounds three and four continue the fight for the GT America powered by AWS championship. The opening rounds set forth a solid pattern of tight racing throughout the field, with the SRO3 and GT4 classes seeing nail-biting finishes. For others, the GT Sonoma protected by Crowdstrike weekend is the setting for redemption.
The field of 26 cars has 15 cars vying for a podium in the SRO3 Class and 11 cars competing in the GT4 Class. Seven manufacturers join in for the hunt at the 12-turn, 2.505-mile circuit in Sonoma County. The drivers are now past the opening season jitters making steadier racing much anticipated.
SRO3 Guarantee
On top of the points standings is Memo Gidley and TKO Motorsports with the No. 101 Mercedes-AMG GT3. He’s three points ahead of fellow Mercedes-AMG GT3 driver Jason Daskalos of CRP Racing. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 still leads as the car of choice in the SRO3 Class, with nine entries in total for the manufacturer.
George Kurtz in the Crowdstrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 is joined by two DXDT Racing entries in Scott Smith and Jeff Burton. TR3 Racing with Ziad Ghandour, Marc Austin representing Lone Star Racing Team, Todd Treffert of CRP Racing and Anthony Bartone with RealTime Racing round out the group of Mercedes -AMG GT3.
Four entries run the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Kyle Washington of GMG Racing, Alex Vogel with OnlyFans Racing with P1 Groupe by MRS, Wright Motorsports represented by Adam Adelson and Andy Wilzoch of Flying Lizard Motorsports all run under the support of the Porsche Motorsport North America.
TKO Motorsport gives Gidley a teammate in David Traitel with a Bentley Continental GT3. Micro Schultis and MISHUMOTORS give the class its lone Callaway Corvette Z06R GT3.
GT4 Heretofore
Jason Bell and Flying Lizard Motorsports stacked a podium finish and win to take a four-point lead above Gray Newell of Heart of Racing in the GT4 Class in Round One and Round Two. The Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 has six entries in total, with the part mentioned above of the six.
In addition, Flying Lizard Motorsports brings Elias Sabo, Ross Choest of Choest Povoledo Racing, Archangel Motorsports with Todd Coleman, TR3 Racing’s Paul Kiebler all take to track in respective Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 entires.
Rotek Racing has two competitors in the mix, with Chris Alliegro and Robb Holland running a pair of Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsports. Tony Gaples returns in the Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro GT4 R. The new Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4 is run by Nicholas Shanny and the Carrus Callas Raceteam. The lone BMW M4 GT4 entry belongs to Rob Walker and Auto Technic Racing.

The weekend goes green with Practice One on Friday, March 31, at 8:50 a.m. PT. Race One brings the action Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m., with the weekend ending after Race Two, which begins at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, April 2.
