It was a bright and early start for the GT America powered by AWS in Practice 2, with 30 more minutes of running at their disposal on Saturday morning to fine tune their machinery before a quick turnaround into Qualifying. It was Memo Gidley who left his mark in the session, going quickest with his No. 56 SKI AUTOSPORTS Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVOII as the championship frontrunner looks to clinch the SRO3 class title this weekend. Behind him, Ross Chouest and Scott Blind exchanged positions on the leaderboard back and forth, with Chouest ultimately finishing second in his No. 50 Chouest Povoledo Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R and Blind ending the session in third with the No. 45 Ruckus Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R (992) EVO. The top five was completed by two more Porsche entries, with the likes of Todd Parriott in the No. 13 Kellymoss car and Dave Musial Sr. in the No. 72 Wright Motorsports machine.
