GT America Powered by AWS Prepares For Road America in Practice 1

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin - The GT America Powered by AWS field has begun its prep for an action-packed weekend at the Midwest’s legendary Road America circuit. Mild morning temperatures worked in everyone’s favor, ensuring ideal conditions for cool machines and fast lap times.

In SRO3, George Kurtz set the fastest lap of the session with a 2:09.148 in his #04 CrowdStrike by Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3. Andy Pilgrim grabbed the second-fastest time of 2:10.783 in his #56 SKI Autosports Ferrari 458 Italia GT3. Just over two seconds behind Kurtz was Jason Harward in the #88 Zelus Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3, followed by Justin Wetherill in the #37 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3 with a 2:11.437. CJ Moses set a 2:17.265 in the #58 GMG Racing Audi R8 LMS GT2.

In GT4, Moisey Uretsky claimed the quickest run of the course with a 2:19.684 in his #55 Accelerating Performance Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. Robb Holland, fresh off of a Nashville sweep, followed closely behind, clocking in a 2:19.909 in his #99 Rotek Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. Third quick was Ross Chouest in the #50 Chouest Provoledo Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4.

Practice session #2 will start at 1:45 PM (Central).
