Alton, Virginia - After two practice sessions at the VIRginia International Raceway, for the GT America powered by AWS series, Jason Bell in the #2 GMG Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 again laid down the fastest time in the GT4 class with a lap time of 1:56.892. Bell hopes to carry over his fastest lap times to tomorrow’s qualifying sessions that will begin at 8 AM EST followed by Race 1 at 12:10 PM. In class, he was followed by the #25 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 driven by Gray Newell. The #55 Accelerating Performance Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 driven by Moisey Uretzsky rounds out the top three.
In SRO3 action, George Kurtz in the #4 CrowdStrike Racing with Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 repeated the top speed for the second practice session with the fastest lap time in class and overall of 1:47.645. Laying down the second-fastest lap time was the #88 Zelus Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3 driven by Jason Harward. Coming in third in class was the Zelus Motorsports #191 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 driven by Jeff Burton.
Running on his own in the GT2 class, CJ Moses in the #58 GMG Racing Audi R8 LMS GT2 finished in eighth place overall with a lap time of 1:52.923.
