Indianapolis, Ind. - inception racing's Brendan Iribe set the fastest lap and captured the pole position in the wet circuit at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. His 1-minute, 45.745-second lap captured the overall prime position and tops the SRO3 class for Friday afternoon's Race 1.

Lining up next to Iribe will be SRO3 points leader and Masters class competitor Charlie Luck. The #45 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3-R (991.2) driver set a 1:47.567 lap and will start on the front row in defense of his championships bids.

The second row will see Memo Gidley (#101 TKO Motorsports Bentley) slotting in with number-two Drivers' Championship contender Jeff Burton and his #191 Rearden Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3, followed by Andy Wilzoch (#460 Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche) and Kyle Washington (#32 GMG Racing Porsche) shoring up the third row.

The fourth row will house the top GT4 qualifiers - Sean Quinlan (#119 Stephen Cameron Racing BMW) in the class pole position and Jason Bell (#2 GMG Racing Aston Martin Vantage) slotted next to him. The two are sure to excite as they are locked in a battle for the class championship, with only 15 points separating the two going into Friday afternoon's race.

Matt Rivard (#60 Dexter Racing Ginetta 56), Scott Noble (#49 NOLASPORT Porsche), Gray Newell (#25 Heart of Racing Aston Martin), and Robb Holland (#99 Rotek Racing Ford) will take up the next four spaces on the grid. Five more GT4-class competitors - Thomas Surgent (#26 Prive Motorsports/Topp Racing McLaren), Chris Cagnazzi (#39 RENNtech Mercedes-AMG) and teammate Christopher Gumprecht (#79 Mercedes-AMG), Alex Welch (#76 ROTR Motorsports Audi), and Sean Whalen (#888 Zelus Motorsports Aston Martin.) SRO3 Competitor CJ Moses (#58 DXDT RAcing Mercedes-AMG) will close out the grid.
